Interested in training to deal with cyber incidents in industrial environments can register for the next in-class Industrial Automation Safety Training, given by TI Safe. Classes will be from 27 to 29 in November at TI Safe Academy, in Jacarepaguá, Rio de Janeiro. The time is from 9h to 18h in the first two days, and from 9h to 13h in the third.
The training is aimed at professionals working in services of generation, transmission and distribution of electric energy; water and sewage treatment plants; Oil and Gas; telecommunications; transport and logistics; financial services; production and distribution of food and safety services.
The modules include practical classes and technical demonstrations of cyber attacks and defenses in automation networks simulated through industrial plants from the TI Safe Research and Development Center.
Topics to be addressed include critical infrastructures and cyberterrorism, governance for industrial networks, risk analysis in industrial networks and SCADA systems, malware and cyber alarms, perimeter security in automation networks, industrial network cryptography, and continuous monitoring. The content is part of the theoretical material distributed to the participants.
At the end, those approved receive a TI Safe Academy certificate. Those interested in also obtaining the CASE certification, which proves the appropriate knowledge for the professional to properly ensure an industrial network, should make a specific registration for this purpose.
