Marcelo Branquinho and Thiago Branquinho, founding partners and, respectively, CEO and CTO of TI Safe, are the authors of the book “Industrial Cyber ​​Security – The world's critical infrastructures are in danger. According to Marcelo Branquinho, the book portrays the experience acquired in these 14 years of activity protecting industrial networks of companies in sectors such as energy, water, steel, mining, health, among others, whose stoppage by hacker attack directly affects the entire population. “These are the so-called critical infrastructures, which are the most important for the daily lives of companies, commerce and citizens in general”, explains Marcelo.

As the opening of the book details, automation networks, increasingly integrated with other technology networks and with the cloud, are an essential part of industrial processes and the heart of critical infrastructure services (electricity, water, fuel, etc.) for population.

The publication, therefore, warns about the dangers of attacks, how they happen and teaches methods and strategies for defending and protecting networks.
